For those that don't know me, I run the video label that is releasing LEXX on video in the UK.  Our first two releases are on 5th July - moreabout them later.

We have now confirmed that the cast (X, BD and MM) will be attending a PA and signing session at the Forbidden Planet Store, New Oxford St, London at 12.45pm on Wednesday 23rd June.  You will be able to buy the videos there early.

It would be hypocritical to deny that we are in it for the money, but we love the show too!  Our aims are to spread the good word far and wide about how wonderful the show is, get more people to watch it on C5 and SciFi, and, yes, sell more videos.

C5, SciFi channel and us will be using the cast visit to maximum PR effect - when I know what publications they will appear in I will post details on the Bored.  But do watch out for SFX August issue!

We will be running a TV commercial for the video on the Sci Fi Channel, Sky One and C4 (during Babylon 5!), from 4th July for 2 weeks.

The first videos released on 5th July are 1.1 I Worship His Shadow and 1.2 Supernova.  They are both the 90' feature length versions of the episodes in "uncut" made for video form.  In addition we have added special 15 minute "making of" mini documentaries about each episode made by producer Paul Donovan.  The first features the pilot footage of the show that he used to raise finance for the original series.

The videos will be priced at £12.99 RRP each, or 2 for £20 at many participating stores.  The videos should be widely available everywhere except the Supermarkets.  Try Woolies, Smiths, HMV, Virgin, Tower, MVC etc.

We have tried hard to make the videos as attractive as possible.  For those with websites I can email you hi-res JPEGs of the sleeves should you want them for your pages.

The first 5,000 copies of each volume feature numbered, limited edition double sided sleeves and each video features an exclusive merchandise offer.

We try hard to make an attractive product for the fans, but please pass on any ideas and requests you might have to us, plus any feedback on the videos themselves.

The next releases are scheduled for August 23rd, and depending how things go another two volumes will follow in October.

Finally - please spread the word as far and wide as possible.  It sounds stupid but fan power counts for a lot - the more people watch the show and buy the videos, the more episodes those wacky guys at Salter St can produce and the longer the show will run!
